Philosophy

Eating philosophy:

Nutrition and diet are ever changing and variable from one person to the next. What your best friend, sibling, or significant other does, may be the opposite of what will work for you. Diets are very overrated and our “eating habits”, as I like to call them, must be tailored to the individual. Numerous factors play a significant role in how our health, goals, and thus your plan. Factors including hormones, sleep, stress, personal taste preferences, culture, genes, and your desired goals and all must be accounted for. Thus, when I meet with you I will be coaching and guiding you in determining how to find what works for you. And best of all; there is more than one way to be successful! Therefore, I will never just hand over a specific diet plan or program nor push a supplement line or product. But I WILL be working with you to learn how YOUR body and mind works and guiding you to a way of eating that works for you; that is sustainable and enjoyable. Your mind and body will thank you once you embark with me! Some keys along this path include journaling, learning of both some science of certain nutrients and health, and discovering your body’s responses, maybe a bit of touch love and direction from your passionate coach as well!

 

Activity philosophy:

Exercise, sports, physical activity, active lifestyle, however you call it you must first enjoy doing it. Plus, the activity must get you the results you want to see in order for you to continue with it. So we will determine what you have available to you (equipment, gym, time, etc), what you enjoy, AND what works to yield you results given your current level of fitness and health. I will create a personal workout plan for you using a tools such as PTontheNet, personal made exercise images and videos, and printed exercises.
