The reality is this

Misconception cleared up….
Oftentimes you hear, see or read that to be healthy, lose fat, train for a physique related show or sport; to eat more whole grains or complex carbs, eat healthy fats, eat protein. YES, these are crucial elements of a diet.
But what you don’t see, is the reality that these foods your told to eat more of are in place of processed or refined grains, trams and bad fats, or zero protein. In actuality, what you may not see is that many physique athletes, or those looking to lose fat or change body composition consume plenty of non starchy veggies. They watch how much lean proteins, complex carbs, and good fats they consume. And calories are important. Even if it’s healthy, one can NOT eat something with abandon and expect to see physique or body composition changes. Portion control And quality are just as important.
This along with hydration, appropriate training, and ample sleep/recovery will yield success.
