I am a firm believer that what we eat impacts our moods, attitudes, and emotions. After doing a 2 weeks cleanse, and making a serious conscious effort to avoid as many personal trouble foods I have been tested to be sensitive to, I have a much more stable mood, better outlook on things, clearer and calmer attitude. These foods include gluten, sugar and sweeteners, cows milk dairy, too many eggs. I feel major differences inside and out. And when I have a tad of these foods now they’re either too sweet, I get a large glycemic response, anxiety, or jittery. No joke. The trick is to figure out and be detective to your own body’s needs and dislikes.
For me, I focused on veggies, fruit, and if I desired some lean protein (but I haven’t craved too much protein). And I certainly don’t crave sweets anymore or bread and gluten.
So if you have emotional bouts, anxiety, stress, or mental confusion really look at what you eat.
